If you have pooled money together to record, before heading into the studio make sure the group arrangements and individual parts are mapped out and well rehearsed. This will keep your studio time down, which in turn will keep your recording cost down significantly. This is not the time to be writing new material! Get in, get it to tape, and get back out on the road to promote your up-and-coming album release.

Always be kind and friendly to everyone you meet–make contacts with promoters, other bands, etc., and people in different indusries (film, photo) If you make positive connections with individuals now, those positive interactions will always remain there and quite possibly assist you down the road. Think big, think long term. Spread your web.

Screen print as many designs and colors as humanly possible!

You never know who might want a purple baby-doll T. Besides, if it doesn’t sell, you can pawn it off onto a hardcore fan club member to thank them for sticking around.
